Website templates FAQ

Are these website templates free?

Browsing is free, and most templates are marked Free. Some originals are sold by their authors; the price shown is theirs. Using any template as a starting brief in Ottermind does not buy or copy the original.

Does Ottermind copy the template's code?

No. Picking a template gives Ottermind a written brief — the kind of site, its sections and its style. Ottermind then builds a new website from that brief with your own content.

Can I edit the website after it is built?

Yes. The site stays editable in Studio: ask for new sections, different copy, another color scheme or extra pages, and preview each change.

Can I use my own brand, text and images?

Yes. Add your business details to the brief before you send it, or upload files in Studio. The template's placeholder content is replaced with yours.

What kinds of website templates are there?

Landing pages, SaaS and startup sites, portfolios and personal sites, dashboards, blogs, agency sites and e-commerce pages, with new templates added over time.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You describe what you want in plain language and Ottermind handles the build. If you do code, you can still ask for specific frameworks or changes.
