Skill tester
Test any agent skill with your own task
Paste up to 4 skill links from the catalog, GitHub, or ClawHub, and describe what you need done once. Each skill opens in its own Studio tab — installed and pre-filled — so you compare real results, not descriptions.
How it works
Paste skill links
Any skill page from the Ottermind catalog works — so do GitHub and ClawHub skill repos. Add up to four to compare.
Describe your task
Write the task once. It rides along with every skill, so each Studio tab opens ready to send.
Run and compare
Each tab opens with the skill installed and your task pre-filled. Send, watch it work, and keep the skill that delivers.
Frequently asked questions
What is an agent skill?
A skill is a documented instruction pack (a SKILL.md) that teaches an Ottermind agent how to do a specific job — from building slide decks to reviewing code. Installing one takes a click.
Which links can I paste?
Ottermind catalog pages (ottermind.ai/skills/…), GitHub repositories that contain a SKILL.md, and ClawHub skill links. You can also type a catalog slug like pdf-to-ppt.
Is it free to test a skill?
Installing a skill is free, and every new Ottermind account includes credits to run real tasks. Heavier tasks use more credits.
How do I compare several skills?
Add up to four links and write one task. Each skill gets its own Studio tab with the same task pre-filled, so you compare actual output quality, speed, and style side by side.
Why did only one tab open?
Browsers block multiple pop-ups from a single click. Allow pop-ups for ottermind.ai, or use the per-skill Test buttons — each click opens one tab reliably.
Do I need an account?
Yes — Studio asks you to sign in (free) before installing. Your skill link and task survive the sign-in redirect, so you land exactly where you were headed.
Not sure which skill to test?
Browse the catalog: thousands of documented skills ranked by real installs, with the full SKILL.md readable before you add anything.
