Guardrails
- The search field is
search, notquery— this differs from some other Scavio endpoints. screen_nameis a handle without the leading@.- Every X endpoint costs 1 credit. Inform the user before paginating through many pages.
- Never fabricate tweet ids, handles, metrics, or replies. Only return API data.
- Surface engagement metrics as-is; do not round or invent counts.
Failure handling
400means an invalid or missing parameter (e.g. notweet_idorscreen_name) — fix and retry.401means the API key is invalid or missing. CheckSCAVIO_API_KEY.429means rate or usage limit exceeded. Wait before retrying. See https://scavio.dev/docs/rate-limits.502/503mean upstream is temporarily unavailable. Wait a few seconds before retrying.- If search returns no results, suggest different keywords or a different
search_type. - If
SCAVIO_API_KEYis not set, prompt the user to export it before continuing.
